Bolivia has an 81% Catholic population and has erected the world’s largest Mary statue costing them 1.2 million dollars!
Bolivia is also the poorest country in South America, yet felt such a giant statue of Mary was important! WHY? Because of the extreme emphasis that Catholics place on their fabricated Mary to the place she has replaced Jesus for many things and dethroned the Father.
The World’s Largest Mary Statue Is 15 Stories High
The world’s largest Mary statue is 149 feet high, the height of a 15 story building. It is called, Our Lady of Socavon, the patroness of miners. It is 59 feet taller than Our Lady of The Rockies in Butte Montana. Our Lady of Socavon is also a grieving sign of misplaced trust by religious people. Mary is not to be trusted in for anything, especially salvation. The Bible does NOT teach devotion to Mary. Instead, the word of God teaches devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ. Remember how Jesus corrected the Catholic-like woman:
As Jesus was saying these things, a woman in the crowd called out, “Blessed is the mother who gave you birth and nursed you.” He replied, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.” (Luke 11:27,28)
