Jephthah – Rejected By Man But NOT By God

If you feel like a type of reject, Jephthah could be the man for you to learn about. Through no fault of his own, Jephthah was born of a prostitute! Furthermore, his own brothers became his worst enemies at an early age because of his mother:jephthah

Jephthah the Gileadite was a mighty warrior. His father was Gilead; his mother was a prostitute. Gilead’s wife also bore him sons, and when they were grown up, they drove Jephthah away. “You are not going to get any inheritance in our family,” they said, “because you are the son of another woman.” So Jephthah fled from his brothers and settled in the land of Tob, where a group of adventurers gathered around him and followed him. (Judg 11:1-3)

What a horrible way to start your life, but such was his portion. As time went on, Israel needed deliverance from the Ammonites. Jephthah was the top man for the job because he was a mighty warrior. Please note: it wasn’t his natural strength or abilities that defeated the Ammonites and gained the victory in battle for Israel. It was God helping him (Judges 11:32), a man who fled away from his own brothers at an earlier time!

Jephthah’s Human Sacrifice – His Daughter

After the defeat of the Ammonites, in conjunction with a vow Jephthah made to the Lord for this victory, his only child (a daughter) came out of their house and became the target of a burnt offering to God! Most touching was her desire to roam the hills for 2 months and weep because she would never marry, reflecting the natural strong desire in young people to marry (Judges 11:37,38)! That was the reason she wept, rather than for her own natural life!

Jephthah, a man rejected by his own family but not by God, led Israel 6 years before he died (Judges 12:7). He was God’s answer to Israel’s prayers for a deliverer! God can use you too, though you might feel like a reject and outcast! Remember Jephthah.

The Wiles Of The Devil – Exorcism

The Bible speaks of the wiles of the devil showing the enemy of our soul is very crafty and scheming (Eph. 6:11)!wiles of the devil Because of his deceitful abilities, Christians are told to put on the whole armor of God to stand against them! NOTE: YOU will need the whole armor or the devil will take you down!  Don’t ever underestimate the devil’s ardent desires to see YOU spiritually destroyed. His intentions are to deceive and lure you away from God through false religious concepts and/or sin. He is watching and waiting to tempt you.

Deception Through Exorcisms

One way the devil has been and is doing his crafty scheming to lethally deceive is through religious deceptions with exorcisms! Specifically, I’m referring to a Catholic priest or even the top Vatican exorcist himself, who uses their holy water and a crucifix (or cross) to drive out a demon with a mixture of a prayer to Mary or rosary! Catholic leaders have even used their Eucharist at times in exorcisms!

The Lead Vatican Exorcist Relies on Mary!

The biblical clashes don’t stop there! Believe it or not, the Vatican lead exorcist, Gabriele Amorth, wants us to believe Satan is more afraid of Mary than the Lord Jesus! The impression one would naturally get by observing such an exorcism in Catholicism is that the Catholic priests, and Catholicism itself, are true to God with supernatural power to even drive out demons. What a shock it is to learn Catholicism and their priests do NOT represent the truth of God, nor do they have supernatural power from God for anything, including exorcisms, but especially lack power to forgive sins, which they claim to be able to do.

Here Is Proof That A Catholic Priest Can NOT Forgive Sins

The counterfeit gospel proclaimed by Catholicism is a powerless sacramental and Marian one, which takes the vital focus off of and away from the Lord Jesus exclusively. Hence, Catholicism remains a Christian counterfeit, even though real exorcisms can be carried on at times! That is where the wily adversary of our souls comes into play. Let me explain an example of how that is possible.

Since the devil and demons are partners working in harmony to spiritually destroy, why wouldn’t the demons within a person vacate during a Catholic exorcism to give the deceptive impression that they were forced out by God’s power channeled through the Catholic priests with their holy water, prayers to Mary etc.? That would be a very cleaver, even brilliant way for the devil to deceive people not acquainted with the biblical message. That is exactly what occurs! Sorry. Hence, only the first 6 minutes is relevant for this subject and you can stop there, if you want.)

The Unsaved Can Cast Out Demons

NOTE: Let it also be noted that the bible actually teaches that unsaved people can cast out demons! That is exactly what the seven sons of Sceva were doing at one point (Acts 19:13) and the same is suggested at Mt. 7:22!

Remember, the devil is real and he is NOT in the lake of fire yet! He is now prowling around throughout the whole earth seeking to DEVOUR the saints (1 Pet. 5:8). [He already has the non-Christians and they are his unknowing servants!] To gain victory over the devil you will have to be self controlled and alert, according to that passage. IF that doesn’t describe you, you better change immediate or you will remain just another casualty because of the wiles of the devil.

The Opah Fish Proves Science Has Dropped The Ball Again

For too many people, science and its scientific method is fool-proof and a sure way to know truth, and if you deviate from science you are incorrect and irrational! Most recently the opah fish demolished that notion about science disseminating truth!bible science

It’s one of the most basic biology facts we’re taught in school growing up: Birds and mammals are warm-blooded, while reptiles, amphibians and fish are cold-blooded. But new research is turning this well-known knowledge on its head with the discovery of the world’s first warm-blooded fish — the opah. (msn.com)

Just think of all the millions of people who were wrongly convinced in the classroom that all fish are cold blooded! After all, their respected professors, who have “all the answers” were very careful to be scientific with their dogmatic findings and beliefs. Moreover, their students became just as dogmatic as their teachers. But now, they realize they were all duped! There were deceived! Again, science has dropped the ball.

Evolution is a Fraudulent UNPROVEN Theory

It is very insignificant, if all fish are cold-blooded or not, but the important point with this is, science is NOT always right! Remember that fact. Science can be wrong and its UNPROVEN THEORY of evolution is a prime example of that, as with the opah fish.

Evolution flatly contradicts the biblical creation message. Therefore, this becomes very serious.bible authority To challenge the word of God on any issue is serious, especially after the Lord Jesus himself personally endorsed the whole Old Testament and promised the New Testament. See The Bible Alone: Final Authority. By his unique authority, the Lord Jesus is telling us all that we are believing absolute truth, if we believe the message of scripture. It doesn’t make any difference if science, a false prophet, a wizard or the devil himself contradicts the written word of God — he, she or it is wrong!

That is important to know. We must be sure the bible is 100% truth because the message of the bible is EXTREME! It might cost you everything you have to get or hold on to eternal life. To vacillate about any issue the bible speaks out on, because of science, could shake your confidence in believing the one and only gospel. That in turn would be destructive to your soul.

Suffice it to say, science is not the final word! The science method is not always correct, but the Bible is and we can most assuredly trust its message completely. What you do with the message of the Bible will determine where you will spend eternity! Do you know Jesus?

Gideon’s Idolatry and Apostasy

The Gideon of the bible initially was a God sent deliverer for Israel, who has been made famous in our day by the Gideons International organization. Like many other Biblical characters many church people only know a very little bit about the real Gideon. In this case, they probably only know how God trimmed down Gideon’s army to 300, because there were too many to go into battle.

Yes it is true that God used Gideon in a mighty way, but the stirring ending of Gideon is what we need to focus on and learn from! In Judges 8:24-27 we read about that:

And he [Gideon] said, “I do have one request, that each of you give me an earring from your share of the plunder.” (It was the custom of the Ishmaelites to wear gold earrings.) They answered, “We’ll be glad to give them.” So they spread out a garment, and each man threw a ring from his plunder onto it. The weight of the gold rings he asked for came to seventeen hundred shekels, not counting the ornaments, the pendants and the purple garments worn by the kings of Midian or the chains that were on their camels’ necks. Gideon made the gold into an ephod, which he placed in Ophrah, his town. All Israel prostituted themselves by worshiping it there, and it became a snare to Gideon and his family.

Gideon made a solid gold ephod (an apron-like vestment worn by priests) and it became an idol, which was worshiped! SHOCKING! What Gideon did was similar to what Aaron did with the solid gold calf idol to appease the people (Ex. 32), but in Gideon’s case it was his idea to make it!

Spiritually Protect Yourself These Ways

Gideon Became A Spiritual Snare and Stumbling Block

Gideon led all of Israel into idolatry, including his own family! He became an idolater. He went from God’s man of deliverance to an idol maker and idolater himself! What a spiritual fall, and there is no biblical evidence he ever returned to God! That gold ephod, worth big money in the natural, was a deadly snare to millions of souls and it originated from a man who was raised up by God in answer to prayer! Imagine that! The Apostle John wrote:

Dear children, keep yourselves from idols. (1 John 5:21)

In the New Testament, idolatry is expanded to include greed (Col. 3:5) and such a sin unto death will exclude any faithful servant of the past from God’s kingdom (1 Cor. 6:9,10; Rev. 21:8).

Gideons International Is Stumbling Others

Now that we know those details about Gideon, how could Gideons International chose a name for their organization from a man who lost his salvation and stumbled all of Israel into idolatry? That just doesn’t seem to fit a group trying to do good by spreading the word of God through distributing bibles. But then again, the name Gideon is befitting when one realizes Gideons International is also spreading the damnable heresy of eternal security, which is stumbling multitudes into idolatries of our day!

How To Study the Bible The Right Way Part 4

Do you interpret scripture with scripture to correctly understand the bible? Appealing to a secular dictionary to understand biblical terms will often result in a gross misunderstanding of what the Bible really says! Let the Bible itself interpret its own terms when possible.

What or Who is the Word?

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (John 1:1)

The mystery meaning of the Word is clarified in verse 14:interpret scripture with scripture

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. (John 1:14)

Now it becomes apparent that the Word in John 1:1 is the Lord Jesus Christ, showing among other things that Jesus Christ is deity and not the person of the Father. [Don’t be deceived by so-called bible translations, like the Jehovah’s Witness Bible.]

How To Study the Bible The Right Way, Part 3

What Is The Second Death?

…Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown of life. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes will not be hurt at all by the second death. (Rev 2:10,11)

According to the above passage, the second death is a place of hurt, but what does that mean? We need more information to better understand the seriousness of not being faithful to God. The mystery is immediately solved by interpreting scripture with scripture:

But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars–their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death. (Rev 21:8)

How To Study the Bible The Right Way, Part 2

From Rev. 21:8, we know the second death is the same as the dreaded fiery lake of burning sulfur and will claim those listed, showing sin is still the issue. [Other verses show that list is not exhaustive.] A comparison of Rev. 2:10,11 and Rev. 21:8 show Jesus gave a hell warning to those already saved, thereby revealing the teaching of once saved always saved as a demonic lie and snare to one’s soul.

Who or What is the Dragon?

The dragon will be worshiped in the future. Is that good or bad?

Men worshiped the dragon because he had given authority to the beast, and they also worshiped the beast and asked, “Who is like the beast? Who can make war against him?” (Rev 13:4)

Again, to consult a secular dictionary for the word dragon will not result in the proper understanding of Rev. 13:4, but if we look in the Bible for an answer, especially the verses before and after any given verse, it becomes clear, who is the dragon:

The great dragon was hurled down–that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him. (Rev 12:9)

Mystery solved again. The dragon, who will be worshiped in the future on a global scale, is the devil (or Satan), based on Rev. 12:9! There will be no worldwide revival regardless how much we want one!

QUESTION: Who is the beast of Rev. 13:4, to whom the dragon gives his authority? The answer this time is inferred by the description in the immediate context, that is, he is the infamous antichrist himself. Notice the details about and characteristics of the antichrist:

The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise his authority for forty-two months. He opened his mouth to blaspheme God, and to slander his name and his dwelling place and those who live in heaven. He was given power to make war against the saints and to conquer them. And he was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation. All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast–all whose names have not been written in the book of life belonging to the Lamb that was slain from the creation of the world. (Rev 13:5-8)

Now we learn about future events the accurate way, not through an occultist like Nostradamus, who made false prophecies and was demon possessed. Shockingly, the antichrist will have worldwide dominance and will be WORSHIPED by the people in society then! He will reign a total of forty-two months and will target the saints and overcome them! Rev. 13:7 is one of the most horrifying verses in the Bible. At that point in the future, the powerful prayers of the saints for deliverance will NOT be answered! It will be a TEST for the saints then. Will they remain faithful to God or give their allegiance to the antichrist and go to the lake of fire afterwards? The ONLY WAY to overcome is detailed in Rev. 12:7, one of the most important verses on spiritual protection for that point in time:

They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death. (Rev 12:11)

Overcomers ARE WILLING TO DIE TO REMAIN FAITHFUL, if necessary. Your faithfulness to God is the real issue, not God’s faithfulness to you, as the once saved always saved heretics tend to magnify! Being faithful to God has always been the sure formula for success with God. Does that describe you? Are YOU ready to die for your faith NOW?

All men will hate you because of me, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.  (Mat 10:22)

The Giver Of Grace

Who is the giver of grace and what are the conditions, if any, to be on the receiving end of saving grace? Those are vital questions we all need to have answers for, since we are saved by grace (Eph. 2:8.9).

Different Popular But Lethal Views About Grace

Calvinism teaches:

  • Grace is unmerited favor with no conditions and given by God, as he sovereignly decides to limit such for the elect only, with NO CHANCE for all others to get it. For them it is once in grace always in grace — meaning now that the elect are in grace they can’t get out of it (or salvation) even if they wanted to!

Calvinism (or Reformed Theology) calls the above unconditional election and eternal security.doctrines of grace Both are wildly deceptive and antithetical to New Testament grace, though taught as the doctrines of grace! All five points of Calvinism are inter-related and hang or fall together, so if one point of Calvinism does down all five points go down together!

Roman Catholicism teaches:

  • Grace is given by Mary, not God, upon her conditions!

In Catholicism, Mary is the mediatrix and dispenser of all grace! That is an astounding responsibility to assign to a creature, but Catholicism has openly and boldly taught this to their people. The implications are:

  • Mary is needed for salvation, as the mediatrix and dispenser of grace
  • Her conditions to receive grace for salvation, at the hour of death, are Catholic oriented. (See below.)

The Real Grace of God

In reality, the real grace of God is only given to the humble by God himself,giver of grace thus repudiating the false claim that it is unmerited, for if it was unmerited (implying no conditions to receive it), then even the non-humble (the proud) would receive it, but they don’t! The proud are always, 100% of the time, opposed by God. [Other verses imply that receiving the life giving grace of God is open for ALL people and not limited to only some.]

The real grace of God is given by God alone. God does NOT dispense grace through Mary or any other creature, according to his word. It is given by God upon the condition of being humble. The proud do NOT get grace! In bold contrast, Catholicism opposes Solomon, James and Peter who all stated that [ONLY] the humble get grace from God:

He mocks proud mockers but gives grace to the humble. (Prov 3:34)

But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” (James 4:6)

All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” (1 Pet 5:5)

The fallacious (and demonic) conditions to get saving grace in Catholicism from Our Lady of Fatima are specific and deadly. Remember that the Catholic hierarchy themselves endorsed the following, and a billion plus trusting people believe this:

I [Mary of Catholicism] promise to assist at the hour of death with the GRACES necessary for salvation, all those who, on the first Saturday of five consecutive months, go to Confession and receive Holy Communion, recite five decades of the Rosary and keep me company for a quarter of an hour while meditating on the mysteries of the Rosary, with the intention of making reparation to me (1917 Fatima Apparitions).

Various Popes Taught Salvation Through Mary

Not only is it stated there that Mary gives saving grace, but the conditions required for the recipients are impossible for NON-Catholics (go to Confession, receive Holy Communion, etc.)! Furthermore, the focus of those conditions is MARY (not the Lord Jesus)! That reveals a very serious problem for 1.2 billion Catholics, namely, their spiritual leaders have lethally misled them! How? Their leaders have “approved” the Fatima apparitions, including the above conditions to get saving grace at the hour of our death from Mary, and by doing so have rejected the Biblical record! If sincere Catholics try to get saving grace, as per Our Lady of Fatima, they are disobeying the only real way to get it as stated in the Bible, thus disallowing them from receiving the true saving grace from God and eternal life. Hence, sincere Catholics remain addicted to their sins and without eternal life. Their gospel is powerless to set the captives free and cleanse their hearts from sin, especially since their misguided focus is on Mary and not Jesus alone WITHOUT Mary too!

Without question, grace is vital to know about, but both Calvinism and Catholicism have grossly misled their faithful followers, thereby standing between them and true salvation for their souls. Who will rise up and roar out these truths about grace before they die in their sins?

Question About Personal Evangelism

Soul winning or evangelism is NOT hard as long as the servants of God can overcome two main problems: discouragement and fear. If the soul winner continues spreading the word of God about salvation and repentance, good will occur.

In The Sinner’s Mind

THE BEST WAY TO SOUL WIN is to help the sinners learn their damned condition.soul winning

For in his own eyes he flatters himself too much to detect or hate his sin. (Psa 36:2)

Nothing is better than 1 Cor. 6:9,10! It seems to include them all sinners and often multiple times. It is better to show them from your Bible so they can actually know it is scripture! Perhaps you should mark that page in your bible with a paper clip. That works well. After you read 1 Cor. 6:9,10, then focus on verse 11 (1 Cor. 6:11). That is the wonderful God-given remedy. Focus on JESUS and magnify his importance.

True Salvation Equals Being Set Free From Sin Addictions

Another great passage is Rev. 21:8. Hopefully, the person you are witnessing to will comment or ask a question or two. From there you must go to wherever in the Bible you need to go so they can be helped. That means you need to learn the New Testament, but don’t let lack of knowledge slow you down. You will learn as you go, just like driving a car. That is also where good Scripturally solid gospel literature will help. Just getting it into the hands of people has great potential for their soul. How To Study The Bible The Right Way — Part 3

To study the bible the right way (and safe way) you must consider ALL related verses on any given subject. That is very important to remember. If not, deception by omission will be committed. False teachers are presenting a partial truth as the whole truth and misleading people who trust them by doing that! In regards to the believer’s security, it is commonly done in three areas related to salvation, the most important subject of all to know.

Romans Road Gospel Presentation

The well-known Romans Road to salvation gospel presentation is a prime example of “deception by omission”! how to study the bibleIt seems it has been almost universally accepted as a concise way to spread the gospel, when in reality it is a gross distortion about salvation itself! Some very sincere and zealous servants of God have fallen prey to that distorted gospel presentation! If the soul winner would know the basics of how to study the bible or would just carefully read the whole book of Romans (only 16 chapters) while marking all verses related to salvation and salvation security, he should become aware of serious issues with the Romans Road. [A whole chapter is devoted to this subject, detailing this problem, in “The Believer’s Conditional Security: Eternal Security Refuted”.]

Selected verses about man’s sinfulness and salvation have been chosen in the Romans Road, but very relevant key verses also related to salvation have been avoided! Could it have been intentionally done to protect the lie of eternal security? Rom. 11:19-23 is one:

You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in.” Granted. But they were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but be afraid. For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either. Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you continue in his kindness. Otherwise, you also will be cut off. And if they do not persist in unbelief, they will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again.

Eternal Life

Another area of this type of deception in the church evolves around eternal life! The goal for all should be eternal life and entering God’s Paradise kingdom. However, many who have that noble goal have also been deceived! Imagine being misled about eternal life when you earnestly believe in eternal life! Without question, it is glaringly obvious that teachers in established religious positions, with great influence, have presented a partial truth as a whole truth and have lethally deceived their trusted following about eternal life! They are ferocious wolves in sheep’s clothing.

How To Study The Bible The Right Way — Part 2

Just one verse which is directly related to eternal life is Gal. 6:8,9. Many times we have cited it to awaken people to the facts, but too often they instead seem to love the eternal security myth they have been taught. Ponder the following passage for yourself and answer this question — Is Gal. 6:8,9 Referring To Salvation or Rewards?

Is Gal. 6:8,9 Referring To Salvation or Rewards?

The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. (Gal 6:8,9)

NOTE: That is Paul, the real grace teacher’s doctrine! That was NOT written by a heretic, who taught a works salvation! To reap eternal life, under grace, a Christian must sow to please the Spirit of God! Clearly, that is a salvation passage, just as valid as John 3:16, but almost known by none! It is not a rewards passage.

The Gospel Itself

The clearest and best known part of the bible about the gospel is 1 Cor. 15:1-4, but it is usually abbreviated to AVOID verse 2. That omission conceals the foundational truth that a conditional security for the believer is connected to the gospel:

By this gospel you are saved, IF you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain. (1 Cor 15:2)

Teaching like that — besides employing deception by omission and presenting a partial truth as the whole truth — also violates how to study the bible by focusing on the immediate context!

Again, 1 Cor. 15:2 explicitly shows that connected with the gospel is a conditional security (NO eternal security). See also Col. 1:23. To teach the opposite, that is, to teach eternal security as being associated with the gospel, is therefore another gospel and to be anathema by doing so (Gal. 1:8,9)!  That is how serious this issue is! WHY? Because the gospel message is directly related to salvation.

IF people, including sincere church people, would learn how to study the bible the right way to avoid being duped by deception by omission such would not be occurring with the gospel and that damnable heresy wouldn’t be the problem it is.

The Endangered Victims

A victim of “deception by omission” teaching might be 100% sincere, but still has beliefs that are based on a partial truth presented as the whole truth. He is oblivious to other key verses related to that subject, which he doesn’t know about. Often he has also fallen prey to a trusted teacher — one who is a friend or family member. Rather than meticulously examining the scriptures alone for himself, he is just receiving what another teaches, thereby endangering his own soul! To study the bible the right way by examining all related verses will safeguard against deception by omission.

NASA Says We Are Not Alone In The Universe

Could life exist beyond the earth? Furthermore, could UFO sightings, crop circles, mutilated cows, etc. all give evidence to an extraterrestrial existence of intelligent life here on our planet NOW?extraterrestrial alien ebe That is not to mention apparent cover-ups about crashed UFOs, alien autopsies, implants and alien abductions! Top NASA scientists say the answer is almost certainly “no.” I believe we are going to have strong indications of life beyond Earth in the next decade and definitive evidence in the next 10 to 20 years,” Ellen Stofan, chief scientist for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, said at a public panel Tuesday in Washington. Is it possible that the ruling world powers are getting close to admitting what they have known for decades, that is, intelligent extraterrestrial life, aliens or EBEs (Extraterrestrial Biological Entities) are here on Earth now?

The prime concern centering around the belief in aliens is how the demonic alien gospel is being spread by many ufologists! Too many are ludicrously saying that aliens planted human life here, that God doesn’t exist, etc. Such outright vicious demonic attacks on the Biblical message are repulsive to real Christians. Hence, some have concluded that ALL UFOs, crop circles, alien abductions, etc. are demons and only demons. That leaves no room for the real possibility that intelligent alien life could exist, but be wrong or just be lying about spiritual issues. Regardless, DO NOT BE MOVED AWAY FROM THE BIBLICAL MESSAGE by so-called aliens, “science,” Our Lady of Fatima, The angel Moroni, etc.

The Bible is 100% TRUTH

The biblical message is PROVEN to be factual and, therefore, most important for us all to accept and believe. One simple proof is the fact that one will be set free from his sin addictions upon repentance and a submissive faith in Jesus Christ, which all real Christians have experienced (Romans 6:22 cf. Acts 20:21; 26:20; Lk. 9:23; Gal. 5:24; etc.). Only biblical truth like that could produce such supremely important results for the sake of the salvation of our SOULS. If visions, dreams, prophecy, experiences, NDEs, or anything else, including aliens contradict that spiritual truth, reject it as a DANGEROUS lie for that is what it is!
