The Midnight Hour

Midnight is the darkness point of the night – the middle of the night. Various important scriptural events occurred at that DARKEST point. Carefully ponder the following. There are important truths to be gleaned.

Passover

The first Passover was a very special event for the Israelites parable of the ten virginsand which they were to observe for generations afterwards. It was their miraculous liberation from Egyptian slavery which lasted 4 centuries! Judgement on Egypt came at midnight, when the death angel passed over and the firstborn of the Egyptian children were struck dead, causing Pharoah to release the Israelites:

So Moses said, “This is what the LORD says: ‘About midnight I will go throughout Egypt.’”  (Exo 11:4)

At midnight the LORD struck down all the firstborn in Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh, who sat on the throne, to the firstborn of the prisoner, who was in the dungeon, and the firstborn of all the livestock as well. (Exo 12:29)

The start of a major turning point for them occurred at midnight! In the NT, we read:

Get rid of the old yeast that you may be a new batch without yeast–as you really are. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.  (1 Cor 5:7)

The Unnamed Writer of Psalm 119

The Holy Spirit writer of Psalm 119 was a powerful, dedicated and zealous servant of God, who would rise out of his bed at midnight to thank God for his commands! Imagine that! When it was prime time to be sleeping, he was instead thanking God for his commands:

At midnight I rise to give you thanks for your righteous laws. (Psa 119:62)

(Read Psalm 119 to be stirred. The unnamed Psalmist was very close to God and many verses in that chapter reveal that.)

The Ten Virgins

What a stirring study the Ten Virgins is (Mat 25:1-13)!human resonsibility It totally demolishes the satanic teaching of eternal security. All 10 virgins were once saved and waiting for their Lord to arrive. Over time, 5 (or 50%) were no longer ready. Their spiritual lamps went out and they had no extra oil! At midnight the cry rang out to meet their bridegroom (Mat 25:6), but half were no longer able. It is non specific as to why that occurred, but it proves freewill and human responsibility after initial salvation do indeed affect one’s ongoing relationship with God! If their salvation was a guarantee, which it would be if the saved were unconditionally kept, protected, guarded, etc. by God, then their apostasies could NOT have happened! Though it was God’s will for them to be saved and they were elect for a time, they became unsaved again and were no longer ready to meet the Lord. Referring to them Jesus said:

I tell you the truth, I don’t know you. (Mat 25:12)

What crushing words to hear for those who once had salvation! The conclusion to Jesus’ teaching is simple. The saints are warned how to prevent that same thing from happening to them with these words:

Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour. (Mat 25:13)

Never A Christian Examined

Paul, Silas and the Jailer at Midnight

Paul and Silas were unjustly beat and locked in jail at Philippi because Paul cast a demon out of a fortune teller! But that is far from the end of the event:

About midnight Paul and Silas [from jail] were praying and singing hymns to God, who tests us. Sometimes they are very severe.” src=”https://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/images/God-tests-spiritual-tests.jpg” alt=”God tests” width=”330″ align=”right” hspace=”10″ vspace=”10″ /> and the other prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everybody’s chains came loose. The jailer woke up, and when he saw the prison doors open, he drew his sword and was about to kill himself because he thought the prisoners had escaped. But Paul shouted, “Don’t harm yourself! We are all here!” The jailer called for lights, rushed in and fell trembling before Paul and Silas. He then brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” (Acts 16:25-30)

That occurred in the middle of the night. It was a crisis time for the jailer, but he knew, in his distress, what to ask and who to ask. At midnight, the jailer heard wonderful words of life in answer to his question:

They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved–you and your household.” (Acts 16:31)

The devil has done a great job of confusing that salvation truth by changing the meaning of the word “believe,” as needed for salvation. To that jailer, he knew “believe” meant to have a faith and trust in the Lord JESUS for his salvation – a faith which OBEYS. So at midnight, that jailer passed from darkness to light, then he was immediately water baptized as a believer!

Paul’s Sea and Land TEST

Painful and severe tests come to Christians – even the most dedicated Christians when they are in the midst of serving God! We must endure them. This happened to Paul, as we read:

On the fourteenth night we were still being driven across the Adriatic Sea, when about midnight the sailors sensed they were approaching land. (Acts 27:27)

That led to a shipwreck when it was cold, raining and dark. Once on land, Paul, as a prisoner, was gathering wood, when he was bitten by a poisonous snake! One painful and troubling severe problem after another crashed down on him, but he endured and a door opened up for him to pray for and lead more to salvation! Eventually after that midnight hour event, came a better time for Paul.

Distinguishing Good from Evil

Though good and evil are opposites, they are not always easy to distinguish or recognize one from the other! In fact, hundreds of millions if not billions can’t and are suffering in HELL because of it. Ponder the following related scripture carefully:

But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil. (Heb 5:14)

To religiously function, without the ability to distinguish good from evil, is very serious! All of the religious deceived are thinking they are right, but can’t recognize their own false beliefs. They lack the ability to distinguish good from evil, which can come in various ways.

Into The Occult

An example of this is what was aired on TV, as shared to us by an acquaintance. Two people stopped to help two others. Later, the two people who stopped to help were identified in a picture and both were dead! How could that be? Did they become angels, like the person who told us thought? The implications of that alleged experience are:

  • After death one’s spirit roams the earth
  • A person can change into an angel after death

Just by considering those implications from various scriptures,after death we know that experience is not “good” as it may appear! Clearly, after death one’s spirit either goes into God’s presence (in God’s kingdom) or into fiery torment. He/she does NOT roam the earth after death as a ghost.  Furthermore, angels are all created beings. A person does not change into an angel after death.

So IF that experience really did occur, which can’t be proven, then the explanation is, demons are trying to lead us to believe apart from the biblical message. What appeared to be good, was actually evil, because it would lead people into an occultic new age belief system, which is unscriptural.

Into Mariology

Catholicism claims various miracles and healings associated with different Marian apparitions. Could it be that Mary, the mother of Jesus, is somehow behind those apparitions and healings? Aren’t healings good? What could be wrong with a physical healing?

IF one believes the supernatural source behind the Marian apparitions of Fatima, Portugal and Lourdes, France — which include healings — then the heretical religious message goes with it! It’s a package deal. In the case of Fatima, where million visit the shrine each year, that message includes:

  • Mary is THE WAY to God
  • Mary is our refuge
  • We are to make reparation for sin to Mary

That is glaring spiritual error and, therefore, evil. test miraclesHence, again, we observe that what appears to be good on the surface via physical healings, is actually evil, because it is associated with idolatry and a false gospel. So how can we further answer diehard Catholics? The answer is shocking, but biblical, that is, the devil can come as an angel of light (causing visions), 2 Cor. 11:14. Also, demons can definitely cause miracles:

They are spirits of demons performing miraculous signs, and they go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them for the battle on the great day of God Almighty. (Rev 16:14)

We analyze the religious message and not merely the sign, wonder or miracle! Remember that. Also remember that the antichrist himself will come with miracles, signs and wonders:

The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders, and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. (2 Thess. 2:9,10)

Into The New Age

Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the astounding miracle performer from India, can materialize things! Isn’t that “good” if it can be used for a physical healing? NO! Along with his miracles and healings is this belief:

  •  Every person is God in form

That belief contradicts the scriptural message that there is only one true Godmiracles signs wonders (1 Cor. 8:6). Again, the religious message associated with any vision, miracle, healing, experience, etc. must be considered to know if such is “good” or “evil.” If you focus merely on the attention-getting miracle or sign, you will be deceived. God will NEVER contradict his written message found in the bible, but the devil certainly will! Remember that vital KEY to discernment, so you won’t be lethally deceived about what is good and evil. Such even includes near-death experiences, which mostly contradict the bible.

Jezebel – The Thyatira Tyrant

The church at Thyatira had a very unique situation, with its resultant problems.going to church From it we can learn much including the truth that even the congregations in first-century Christianity had serious problems! After the Lord commended the angel (or messenger in Greek – v. 19) he then focused on their chief problem, a big one – a female false teacher!

Tolerating Jezebel

Jesus said the so-called prophetess Jezebel was misleading his servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols! She was the reason they were in sin. The devil used that church woman, who must have been in either a teaching position or close to it, as a prophetess. Apparently, some believed her exalted false claim to their own spiritual harm. She was being “tolerated” and that toleration allowed that WICKED WOMAN to adversely influence precious saints. She was HARMFUL (like a spiritual viper) to the saints and such occurred IN the church congregation!

Nevertheless, I have this against you:tolerating Jezebel You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess. By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols. I have given her time to repent of her immorality, but she is unwilling. So I will cast her on a bed of suffering, and I will make those who commit adultery with her suffer intensely, unless they repent of her ways. I will strike her children dead. Then all the churches will know that I am he who searches hearts and minds, and I will repay each of you according to your deeds. (Rev 2:20-23)

“Going to church” in Thyatira led to the spiritual DEATH of the saints, who became sexually immoral. That shatters the prevalent myth that “going to church” is the spiritual cure-all from the misuse of Hebrews 10:25!

Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing …. (Heb 10:25)

The context of Hebrews 10:25 refers to meeting together with “holy brothers” (Heb. 3:1) with qualified spiritual leadership in charge:

Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith. (Heb 13:7)

Heb. 10:25 certainly does NOT allow for false prophets or false teachers to be in charge spuing out their POISONOUS teachings to the people attending, which is the norm in our day of eternal security! That is not the type of meetings any Christian should be attending.

Others in Thyatira had also picked up “her [Jezebel’s] ways.” Jesus saw it all! Sin was still the issue. NOTHING was hidden from his sight! Their future sins were not automatically forgiven. Jesus’ blood didn’t hide their sins from Jesus seeing it! Neither did grace! Do not believe the modern-day male and female Jezebels, who teach like that!

NOTE: Christians are to be patient with others, but not tolerant with false teachers. FALSE PROPHETS should never be tolerated! To tolerate their presence, especially in a church setting, is not pleasing to God, nor is it a sign of mercy or maturity! It is spiritual neglect and opens the door for EVIL to come in and DEADLY religious deception to occur.

Who Was This Jezebel

Who the Thyatira Jezebel was remains a mystery. Jesus called her that after the infamous WITCH and wife of King Ahab, who opposed Elijah the prophet. Some think this Jezebel might have been the Pastor’s wife! Regardless, she was an influential woman, who got in power and remained there (because she was tolerated) to the lethal spiritual harm of others. Just the name Jezebel speaks volumes of how the Lord Jesus saw that self-proclaimed prophet in a negative way!

To The Other Group NOT Listening To Jezebel

Jesus told the ones who rejected Jezebel to only hold on to what you have until I come:

Now I say to the rest of you in Thyatira,thyatira Jezebel to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets (I will not impose any other burden on you): Only hold on to what you have until I come. (Rev 2:24,25)

Jesus made it their responsibility to HOLD ON. To hold on is what the others didn’t do who listened to Jezebel and committed adultery with her!

Promise To ALL Overcomers

To him who overcomes and does my will to the end, I will give authority over the nations– “He will rule them with an iron scepter; he will dash them to pieces like pottery” — just as I have received authority from my Father. I will also give him the morning star. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. (Rev 2:26-29)

[Catholicism wrongly gives their mythical sinless Mary the title, morning star, which is a title that belongs to the Lord Jesus (Rev. 22:16)! ]

Find Out More About The Overcomers and HOW To Be Spiritually Protected.

Various exciting mind-blowing promises, which we can’t fully understand now, are held out to the saints who endure to the end (Mt. 10:22), that is, who hold on to what they have (v. 25) and do God’s will to the end (v.26)! Among other things, the messages to the people at Thyatira show the vital importance of persevering and the POISON of false teachings. What Is A True Preacher of God’s Word Really Like?

Recently, a young man opened up and told my wife and me how horribly bothered he is ABOUT HIS OWN FATHER, who is a Baptist “pastor”! “He tells jokes from the pulpit and his congregation is filled with hypocrites,” he told us.true preacher of God's word (He also mentioned his father had sex with an 18 year old girl several years ago!) He flatly refuses to attend his father’s congregation and is distressed by his so-called “preaching.” He, his wife and baby daughter have church together in their house and refuse to “go to church” where his father stands behind the pulpit! As he quoted the Lord Jesus, “For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.” (Mat 18:20).

Can You Be A Christian And NOT Go To Church

That young man’s report also reminds me of a Presbyterian man, who told me years ago that he left that congregation because the “pastor” there was throwing grapes up into the air and catching them in his mouth, as he was preaching! Such ridiculous nonsense is too common, even to the extreme of Calvinist Mark Driscoll outrightly insulting the Lord Jesus, as he lectures to his group! From there we could go to conscience seared liars, such as Chuck Missler, who admits to lying before the very audience he was about to preach the heresy of eternal security to! These, and others similar to them, are the opposite of what a true preacher is really like. So what should true servants be, according to scripture?

The Apostle Paul Was DEAD Serious As He Taught

The true servants of God have always been dead serious as they taught God’s word. Why so serious? Because nothing is more important than the work of God revolving around God’s truth and souls. Since nothing could be more serious, how could anyone walking with God take lightly the importance of declaring God’s eternal truths to the people in dire need of instruction, encouragement and perhaps a warning of severe danger?

In everything set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned, so that those who oppose you may be ashamed because they have nothing bad to say about us. (Titus 2:7,8)

Again, soundness of speech is mentioned, but also SERIOUSNESS, which excludes all joke telling. NO servant of God is ever shown telling jokes in the bible!

Soundness

True servants of God must also be able to teach God’s word from the scriptures alone (2 Tim. 3:16,17)true preacher of God's word and reason from the scriptures (Acts 17:2). The Bible is the one and only source for truth. True servants of God must also be able to refute those who oppose it (Titus 1:9). If such abilities are not present in a so-called spiritual leader, how can he stand against the many lethal lies of the devil, which will certainly come in various forms against the very souls he is commanded to guard (1 Tim. 6:20)?

The Heart of a True Servant of God

Let’s focus on the apostle Paul, who was a shining example par excellence of a true servant, after Jesus. What was Paul really like as he ministered and conducted himself throughout his ministry? As he faced various severe trials Paul wrote:

I served the Lord with great humility and WITH TEARS, although I was severely tested by the plots of the Jews. You know that I have not hesitated to preach anything THAT WOULD BE HELPFUL TO YOU but have taught you publicly and from house to house. (Acts 20:19,20)

NOTE: Paul taught to “help” his audience. That is very significant and speaks volumes about his godly motives. He knew certain truths would benefit them and was personally willing to pay the price to tell those truths from the scriptures.

TEARS were also a regular part of Paul’s ministry and let’s not forget that Jesus was a “man of sorrows” (Isa. 53:3). To see a smiley, joking professing spiritual leader before the people is out of place and indicates serious spiritual problems in him. Tears, NOT laughter, was a trait of Paul:

So be on your guard! Remember that for three years I never stopped warning each of you night and day with TEARS. (Acts 20:31)

For I wrote you out of great distress and anguish of heart and with many TEARS, not to grieve you but to let you know the depth of my love for you. (2 Cor 2:4)

For, as I have often told you before and now say again even with TEARS, many live as enemies of the cross of Christ. (Phil 3:18)

LOVE Manifested In Gospel Telling

The heart filled with love shares the gospel with others!

We loved you so much that we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well, because you had become so dear to us. (1 Thess 2:8)

COMMENT: One of the greatest manifestations of Christian “love” is to speak God’s truth needed for salvation, even if it will bring trouble and persecutions to the preacher. How could people not recognize this in Paul? Don’t forget John the Baptist either!

To Win As Many As Possible

Paul had no hint of greed in him at all, EXCEPT FOR SOULS!

Though I am free and belong to no man, I make myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible. To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law. To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God’s law but am under Christ’s law), so as to win those not having the law. To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some. (1 Cor 9:19-22)

Comment: SOULS are always the priority for a true servant of God. Paul paid any cost within the will of God, while living holy, to win more souls and help keep souls saved.

Paul Warned About Losing Salvation

Suffering

The truest and most dedicated preacher surely won’t be appreciated for his dedication and laborers. In fact, some of the very ones he has helped to get saved and prayed for will turn on him and later become his enemy! Such heart-blows are a reality and even the perfect Lord Jesus experienced similar things (Mt. 26:21; Mt. 26:31-34; etc.)! The true preacher will be persecuted and opposed — even viciously by some — as he spreads the word of life and lives holy! The world will HATE him (John 17:14)! All men will not speak well of him (Lk. 6:26).

Nehemiah

Though Nehemiah was not a preacher, he had the spiritual traits of a true preacher of God’s word! For him the task was rebuilding the wall around Jerusalem after it was destroyed by Nebuchadnezzar.true preacher of the word Nehemiah was a determined and fully-committed, bold and God-fearing man, who sunk great effort and sacrifice into the project to successfully see it accomplished! There was absolutely NO playtime or distractions allowed with him. He knew his hard-to-attain goal, and its importance, and went after it as a hunting dog running after a rabbit. All along Nehemiah continued to look to God for help as he faced various serious problems head on. Nehemiah was also an example and motivator, who got others needed for the project at hand, to join in on the grueling task of rebuilding the wall. He wasn’t reluctant to confront trouble, and got forceful with certain people without partiality, who needed it, just like a true preacher. Nehemiah was a successful and fruitful servant of God, who positively affected millions by his faithfulness and exceptional dedication.

Bible Answer To American Preachers Are Unusual

IF you can find a true servant of God in our apostate day, back him up. That man is a valuable asset to the Kingdom of God. Encourage and pray for him, for surely the devil wants to take him down! He will face MANY problems you will never know about in this life. He is battling for your soul and his own, as he looks to God and feeds the sheep (Jn. 21:15-17). Perhaps, YOU could dedicate yourself to God and become a true preacher of God’s Word, like Paul was and be a great blessing with your life.

Bigfoot, Chupacabras and KJV Onlyites

In our special day, there exists is a very different (even strangely unbelievable) type of professing Christian –bigfoot one who aggressively and furiously fights for the exaltation and exclusiveness of an archaic English translation of the Bible, which he himself can NOT understand — the 1611 King James Version! Besides such being an obvious form of insanity — unrecognized by the victims — those same unique people (the KJV Onlyites) adamantly deny their own inability to comprehend the KJV and even go further by LYING that their own 10 year old grandson can understand the weird KJV archaic words and phrases they have never heard or seen, and often cannot pronounce such as:

  • lapwing (Lev. 11:19);
  • abusers of themselves with mankind (1 Cor. 6:9);
  • inordinate affection & evil concupiscence (Col 3:5);

  • vain jangling (1 Tim. 1:6)
  • doubletongued & filthy lucre (1 Tim 3:8);
  • assupim (1 Chron. 26:15);
  • ribband (Number 15:38);
  • meat (Gen. 1:29)
  • redound (2 Cor. 4:15)
  • superfluity of naughtiness (James 1:21);
  • gay clothing (James 2:3);
  • winefat (Mark 12:1)
  • succour (Heb. 2:18);
  • lowering (Mt. 16:3)
  • no bands in their death (Psa 73:4)
  • their eyes stand out with fatness (Psa 73:7)
  • waters of a full cup are wrung out to them (Psa 73:10)
  • go a whoring from thee (Psa 73:27)
  • set up their ensigns for signs (Psa 74:4)
  • they have slept their sleep (Psa 76:5)
  • my sore ran in the night (Psa 77:2)
  • smote his enemies in the hinder parts (Psa 78:66)
  • from following the ewes great with young (Psa 78:71)
  • they have holpen the children of Lot (Psa 83:8)
  • a brutish man knoweth not (Psa 92:6)
  • a froward heart shall depart from me (Psa 101:4)
  • bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together (Col 2:19)
  • rudiments of the world (Col 2:20)

bigfoot spiritual and moral problems abounding in such KJV Only people, who will LIE about that. Remember this! People who make such an absurd claim are IMMORAL deceivers, who need to repent of their LYING. See Rev. 21:8. Many of the same KJV Only people hypocritically “sneak read” modern translations to find out what the bible is actually saying because they can’t understand the KJV! IF the KJV was “perfect” or even understandable, there would be no need to do that?

The one-eyed KJV Onlyites have also been filled with misinformation and propaganda, as they unjustly, viciously, bash, falsely accusekjb only and try to wreck every non-KJV professing Christian of promoting everything from the New Age movement to occultism to blasphemy! Shocking, but sadly true! At best, KJV Onlyites regard such professing Christians, who would dare use or teach from any translation other than the KJV in their presence — regardless how credible — as ignorant and dangerous baby Christians! They are all considered inferior. Furthermore, many consider ALL non KJV Onlyites as non Christian, thereby indirectly claiming that using, reading or teaching from the KJV is needed for salvation itself and an identifying characteristic of being a present-tense Christian!

The KJV Onlyites are NOT generally open to the facts, regardless how compelling! For most, facts are irrelevant and their minds have already been made up! They are there to fight for the KJV as part of a click (or gang) of people, who will consider all other professing Christians beneath them based solely on the English translation of the Bible they read and teach from! They seldom jeopardize their group standing.kjb onlyism

Such is already irrational, but the evidence extends even further when one observes that their chief proof text for KJV Onlyism being true is to attack the NIV, while not mentioning ALL other English translations (which also differs from the KJV). Their single goal, even above defending the conditional security of the gospel of grace (1 Cor. 15:2), is to promote the usage of their INCOMPREHENSIBLE 1611 KJV English translation, as the ONE, ONLY, BEST and PERFECT translation to be used worldwide, even in non-English speaking countries (China, Russia, India, France, Mexico, Brazil, etc.)! One must wonder if their rare form of religious insanity continues beyond the spiritual!

Find Out Now Who The Righteous Are

“Slew and Hanged on a Tree” – ONLY in the KJV

How serious is it deny Jesus died on the cross? It is the epitome of spiritual ignorance and error – an impossible anti-God and inaccurate concept, which will negate or prevent salvation. Such flatly condemns Islam (which denies Jesus died on the cross) as well as the KJV translation itself at Acts 5:30 and 10:39! This is the ultimate beat down and irretrievable elongate spike driven deep into the blood sucking vampire heart of the KJV Onlyism beast. No other KJV mistranslations are needed to disqualify it from being considered accurate, beyond that one point. IF the KJV denies Jesus died on the cross, even once, it is guilty of spreading lethal ERROR and BLASPHEMY by doing so and should NOT be used on that basis alone by any Christian! Here is the embarrassing evidence leading to that inescapable conclusion from the KJV itself:

The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree. (Acts 5:30, KJV)

And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree. (Acts 10:39, KJV)

The archaic KJV word to focus on in Acts 5:30 and Acts 10:39 is “slew.” Both KJV verses say Jesus was “slew” BEFORE he was hanged on a tree [cross]! Again, Jesus was “slew,” then hanged on the cross, according to the KJV. So now the pivotal questions are, how does the KJV use the word “slew” and how is it understood by the faithful KJV readers? The word “slew” is found in the KJV New Testament in Mat 2:16; Mat 21:39; Mat 22:6; Mat 23:35; Luke 13:4; Acts 5:30; Acts 10:39; Acts 22:20; Rom 7:11 and 1 John 3:12 – a total of 10 times. Without exception, EVERY TIME “slew” is used in the other 8 passages not in question, the KJV New Testament shows that the word slew, according to the context, means kill, murdered or the like! People reading the KJV must learn another language — an old archaic, extinct language of our day. They have observed the usage of “slew” in their struggles to read the kjv to mean killed. Consistency, therefore, teaches Jesus was killed (“slew”) before he was hanged on the cross, making it impossible for Jesus to die on the cross, since he had already been “slew” [killed].

There is even more similar evidence from the KJV on “slew,” though no more is needed, which supplements the total destruction of KJV Onlyism! It comes from the KJV Old Testament. Repeatedly, the term “slew” (used for our word KILL), is found. Millions know David “slew” Goliath (1 Sam. 17:50)! That KJV term is used to mean kill throughout the KJV OT too, even extending to Samson killing (“slewing”) people (Judges 16:30), etc. and expanding on to Acts 5:30 and Acts 10:39!

If You Are A KJV Onlyite

If you are a KJV Onlyite, how can you condemn professing Christians who are: (1) righteously repulsed at this KJV BLASPHEMY, of stating Jesus was killed before being hanged on the cross, and (2) the utter incomprehensible language of this ERROR-ridden English translation, which you tirelessly and aggressively try to shove down our throats, to our own harm? Your ardent zeal for the KJV is actually misplaced and counter-productive to the extension of the kingdom of God, and your OVERT  LYING about being able to understand the KJV is shameful and IMMORAL. The KJV Onlyite is a unique beast, like the controversial Bigfoot and Chupacabra, which continue to surface, according to claims!

On October 1, 2015, at the Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, Oregon, a Christian-hating killer asked, “Are you a Christian? If you are a Christian stand up. You are about to see God in about one second.” Then, out of hatred, he shot the professing Christians in the head. (Nine people died that day, but not all professed to be Christian.)

Christians, the essence of Rev. 12:11 can become reality for YOU at any time,hate crime if you’re rightly and courageously following Jesus unashamedly and holding to your Christian testimony for your own salvation’s sake to the end (Mt. 10:22; Heb. 3:14; Rev. 2:10,11). You must hold to your profession of faith of being a Christian! God’s truth is clear on how to overcome:

They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death. (Rev 12:11)

It takes COURAGE to follow Jesus (to do the will of God), to be an overcomer:

But Christ is faithful as a son over God’s house. And we are his house, if we hold on to our courage and the hope of which we boast. (Heb 3:6)

The servants of the devil (who teach you can disown Jesus and he won’t disown you in contrast to Jesus) are not only calling Jesus a “liar,” but setting a lethal snare for their own faithful followers and supporters! Jesus taught his followers that they would be hated and cited this warning of spiritual death:

But whoever disowns me before men, I will disown him before my Father in heaven. (Mat 10:33)

Anyone who loves his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me; and anyone who does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me. Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. (Mat 10:37-39)

They Shifted The Focus From Hating Christians

The central focus of the Oregon massacre has been shifted away from hating and killing Christians. IF the cold-blooded murderer had focused on Muslims or homosexuals and shot them in the head for their beliefs and practices, the public uproar would be much greater! Christians remain hated and despised by the world. It has always been this way for 2,000 years and will remain this way until the end. Why are Christians so hated? Because the Lord Jesus and his precious life-giving truths are hated and we represent and cherish them. IF you are a real Christian, remember Jesus’ words:

I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown. (Rev 3:11)

Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. (Mat 10:28)

Watch this short video advertisement for a Mary statue and it becomes obvious how important Mary is to deceived Catholics. Such advertisement, and subsequent sales, are the result of people just believing what they are taught by Catholic leaders rather than reading and believing the Bible.

Mary is called “Our Lady of Grace”! WHY? Catholicism teaches their 1.2 billion followers that ALL “grace” is dispensed through Mary. Hence, Mary’s mythical and fabricated title.catholic doctrine That is idolatrous enough, but it gets worse. In this video ad, she is presented as our protector, our refuge, our mediator and heavenly mother! Catholics KISS and bow before Mary statues and certainly this one will be no exception!

Though the price for this Mary statue wasn’t divulged, it costs $46.95. So for that amount you can have your own personal Mary idol of “Our Lady of Grace,” which is MUCH CHEAPER than the Catholic first class relic of Alphonsus Liguori which costs $450! Idol making has been a lucrative business for at least 2,000 years (Acts 19:24,25) – and certainly selling Mary statues in our day has brought in financial gain too.

The Mythical Religious Life of a Catholic

May ALL Catholics destroy their idols and turn from all their dependence on their mythical sovereign Mary, who can’t help us! Catholics have so exaggerated her importance that the “approved” Fatima apparitions label her as “THE WAY” to God! Shocking and deadly! The truth is JESUS is our ONE mediator (1 Tim. 2:5) and Savior. He alone has the ONLY name in which salvation is found (Acts 4:12) and he is “THE WAY” to God (Jn. 14:6) – NOT Mary. Mary is NOT on the throne ruling and reigning in heaven with Jesus! To believe what Catholicism teaches about their mythical Mary is enough to damn sincere Catholics to hell. People who believe what the Catholic church teaches are NOT Christians!  Recently a friend in Christ asked me how many sins must one make to lose salvation, and how many times can one be born again, so I answer according to the little knowledge I have according to the bible. At the end he said, I think one who dies in sin was never a Christian to begin with. Then I realized he wasn’t discussing once saved always saved, but never saved false convert type. He used, ‘they come out of us but was never of us.’

You are right, such is a different topic than once saved always saved.false convert Usually it is the once saved always saved teachers who bring up this NON-related subject in an effort to conceal the license for sin that their doctrine is! It is a smokescreen which is EASY to see through when you know what to look for! Those FALSE teachers usually bring up Mt. 7:23 and 1 John 2:19. Neither scripture fits the identity of a person who was radically changed and set free from his sin addictions through repentance and faith in JESUS [which occurs at salvation]. Mt. 7:23 shows that group were continuous tense EVIL doers and 1 John 2:19 is answered in 1 John 2:22 where they didn’t believe Jesus was the Christ! Obviously, such were NEVER saved and shows how misused those passages really are to be cited as though the subjects were very sheep-like counterfeits of the real!

What If You Are Wrong And Go To HELL

NOTE: ALL eternal security teachers believe King David remained saved in his adultery and murder! NONE of them say he was never saved because he turned to such vile wickedness! Clearly, King David died spiritually by turning to sin (Ezek. 33:18). Without question, the righteous can die spiritually.  Here is more biblical information on the bogus never saved argument.

The Salvation Recipients of God’s Mercy

Calvinism is a LIE FROM HELL. Calvinism would have you believe that God pours out his saving mercy on some,
calvinism is false but not others who are equally as evil and will never have a chance to get his mercy to be saved from the lake of fire! In other words, Calvinism teaches double predestination – one is chosen by God apart from freewill unto salvation and he cannot ever get out of it, while ALL others are overlooked (the non elect) and will never have an opportunity to get God’s mercy for salvation. How irrational and contradictory to the word of God that concept is! Such is a repulsive religious myth, which distorts grace, God himself and minimizes the dangers of sin.

What Is God like Regarding His MERCY?

The truth is, God delights to show mercy and is full of mercy:

Who is a God like you, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of his inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but DELIGHT TO SHOW MERCY. (Micah 7:18)

As you know, we consider blessed those who have persevered. You have heard of Job’s perseverance and have seen what the Lord finally brought about. THE LORD IS FULL OF COMPASSION AND MERCY. (James 5:11)

God’s Mercy and The HOPE of Eternal Life

Calvinists don’t want you to know the following passage about salvation and the HOPE of eternal life for those already saved:

He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life. (Titus 3:5-7)

We become the people of God (or children of God) by receiving God’s mercy:

Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy. (1 Pet 2:10)

Forgiving Others Is A Salvation Issue

Calvinists Love Romans 9 and Want Us To Exclusively Focus On It:

For he says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.”calvinism election It does not, therefore, depend on man’s desire or effort, but on God’s mercy. For the Scripture says to Pharaoh: “I raised you up for this very purpose, that I might display my power in you and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.” Therefore God has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy, and he hardens whom he wants to harden. One of you will say to me: “Then why does God still blame us? For who resists his will?” (Rom 9:15-19)

Stephen believed his audience always RESISTED the Holy Spirit (and God’s will) — Acts 7:51! Mercy for Pharaoh’s salvation is NOT the subject there, but it is in Romans 11:32 (2 chapters later):

For God has bound all men over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all. (Rom 11:32)

All people who have disobeyed are potential recipients of God’s saving mercy, but not all receive his mercy! WHY is the big question? Because they don’t meet the conditions for his mercy, which are listed throughout scripture:

He who conceals his sins does not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy. (Prov 28:13)

Let the wicked forsake his way and the evil man his thoughts. Let him turn to the LORD, and he will have mercy on him, and to our God, for he will freely pardon. (Isa 55:7)

Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. (Mat 5:7)

For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. (Mat 6:14,15)

Then the master called the servant in. “You wicked servant,” he said, “I canceled all that debt of yours because you begged me to. Shouldn’t you have had mercy on your fellow servant just as I had on you?” (Mat 18:32,33)

His mercy extends to those who fear him, from generation to generation. (Luke 1:50)

But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, “God, have mercy on me, a sinner.” I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted. (Luke 18:13,14)

To the saved — those set free from their sin addictions (Rom. 6:22) and who find rest for their souls (Mt. 11:29) — we read:

Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God–this is your spiritual act of worship. (Rom 12:1)

In other words, because you were saved by God’s mercy, offer your bodies as living sacrifices. Again, this shows we are saved by mercy (as well as by grace – Eph. 2:5,8). If you are a slave to sin, please know it is YOUR CHOICE to come to Jesus for eternal life or remain a child of the devil, while you continue on the road to HELL. YOU have freewill to choose JESUS or sin. It is your choice, but it is also your eternity! Remember you can be a recipient of God’s saving mercy. Finally, all Christians need to fight against Calvinism and other cults, which distort these vital salvation truths.

Nadab, Abihu and Spontaneous Human Combustion

Aaron, the high priest in the days of Moses, had four sons – Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar (Ex. 28:1). They were all ANOINTED as priests to serve God in a special and needed spiritual way (Num. 3:2,3).

The DEADLY Unauthorized Fire

The priests had very strict rules and regulations to follow in their elevated spiritual position, including the type of fire they were to use. One day that specific type of fire was ignored and a very unique judgment from God struck both Nadab and Abihu:spontaneous-human-combustion in the bible

Aaron’s sons Nadab and Abihu took their censers, put fire in them and added incense; and they offered unauthorized fire before the LORD, contrary to his command. So fire came out from the presence of the LORD and consumed them, and they died before the LORD. Moses then said to Aaron, “This is what the LORD spoke of when he said: “Among those who approach me I will show myself holy; in the sight of all the people I will be honored.” Aaron remained silent. Moses summoned Mishael and Elzaphan, sons of Aaron’s uncle Uzziel, and said to them, “Come here; carry your cousins outside the camp, away from the front of the sanctuary.” So they came and carried them, still in their tunics, outside the camp, as Moses ordered. (Lev 10:1-5)

Nadab and Abihu, however, fell dead before the LORD when they made an offering with unauthorized fire before him in the Desert of Sinai. They had no sons; so only Eleazar and Ithamar served as priests during the lifetime of their father Aaron. (Num 3:4)

Notice their bodies were consumed by fire, but NOT the tunics they were dressed in! That is amazing! Some sceptics might take issue with that, but it happened just like the bible says, which happens to be very similar to the mysterious burning deaths known in our day as spontaneous human combustion.

In December 1966, the body of 92-year-old Dr. J. Irving Bentley was discovered in his Pennsylvania home by a meter reader. Actually, only part of Dr. Bentley’s leg and slippered foot were found. The rest of his body had been burned to ashes. A hole in the bathroom floor was the only evidence of the fire that had killed him; the rest of the house remained perfectly intact. How could a man catch fire — with no apparent source of a spark or flame — and then burn so completely without igniting anything around him? Dr. Bentley’s case and several hundred others like it have been labeled “spontaneous human combustion” (SHC). Although he and other victims of the phenomenon burned almost completely, their surroundings, and even sometimes their clothes, remained virtually untouched….What makes the charred bodies in the photos of spontaneous human combustion so peculiar is that the extremities often remain intact. Although the torso and head are charred beyond recognition, the hands, feet, and/or part of the legs may be unburned. Also, the room around the person shows little or no signs of a fire, aside from a greasy residue that is sometimes left on furniture and walls. Could it be that some of the cases of spontaneous human combustion of our era are judgments of God? The similarities are comparable to what happened to Nadab and Abihu!

BTW,though Nadab and Abihu were “anointed” their sin was their downfall and that happened even after they were so privileged to see the God of Israel (Ex. 24:9,10). They didn’t have special privileges to do evil and neither does anyone else! Also, it was NOT habitual, lifestyle or the practice of using unauthorized fire that caused fire from the LORD to consume them. It was a single act! Furthermore, when the eternal security heretics of our day horribly distort the meaning of the sin unto death, they never cite Nadab and Abihu as examples! Bible truth is FAR from the way it has been presented! Vital truths have been distorted by present day popular false teachers!
