Christian Prostitutes, Richard Wurmbrand and Voice of the Martyrs

Many professing Christians have heard of and even support Richard Wurmbrand and Voice of The Martyrs, but do the same really know what it is spreading to others doctrinally? Probably not!Richard Wurmbrand Because Richard Wurmbrand himself believes there are Christian prostitutes, he is shown to be a heretic and deserving of our latest Skull and Crossbones Award.

Solid proof that Voice of the
Martyrs is apostate:

I will tell you just one case of suffering of a family that I know personally. A brother entered prison on account of his work in the Underground Church. He left behind a wife with six children. His older daughters of seventeen and nineteen could not get a job. The only one that gives jobs in a Communist country is the state, and it does not give jobs to children of ‘criminal’ Christians. Please don’t judge this story according to moral standards; just receive the facts. The two daughters of a Christian martyr — Christians themselves — became prostitutes to support their younger brothers and sick mother. Their younger brother of fourteen became insane when he saw it and had to be put in an asylum. When years later the imprisoned father returned, his only prayer was, ‘God, take me to prison again. I cannot bear to see this.’ His prayer was answered and he was jailed again for the crime of having witnessed for Christ to children. His daughters were no longer prostitutes, as they received jobs by complying with the demands of the secret police — they became informers. As daughters of a Christian martyr, they are received with honor in every house. They listen and then they report everything they hear to the secret police. Don’t just say that this is ugly and immoral — of course it is — but ask yourself if it is not also your sin that such tragedies occur, that such Christian families are left alone, and are not helped by you who are free. (Richard Wurmbrand, Tortured For Christ, Hodder & Stoughton, 1967, pp. 48,49, bold emphasis mine)

Richard Wurmbrand Smears The
Holy Image of a Christian

Richard Wurmbrand joined the crowd to smear and reduce the holy image of a Christian to a possible prostitute and/or betrayer of Christians!Voice of the Martyrs But that’s not all! He tries to heap their sin and blame of that ugly and immoral behavior onto non supporters of Voice of the Martyrs for not donating financially to Voice Of The Martyrs! If Richard Wurmbrand was sound he wouldn’t distort the image of Christianity that way or try to pass the blame of a backslider’s immorality on to others who he thinks should be supporting his ministry, but aren’t! He implies the remedy is money and will prevent immorality and unfaithfulness. Perhaps Richard Wurmbrand never noticed in the same poor family, the father has remained a faithful Christian, even though jailed, yet is financially impoverished as the daughters! Dear reader, please note there are NO Bible verses which even suggest money will prevent sexual immorality as Voice of the Martyrs wants us to believe. Especially remember God’s word doesn’t say one can be sexually immoral and a Christian simultaneously! Do NOT be deceived.

The Only Way Richard Wurmbrand Could Believe in Christian Prostitutes

Finally, the only way Richard Wurmbrand could possibly believe there are Christian prostitutes is if he believes in the popular false gospel and doctrine of demons commonly called once saved always saved. [Antinomian Laurence Vance also believes there could be Christian prostitutes, so Richard Wurmbrand is not alone!] The truth is, Richard Wurmbrand is part of the present worldwide apostasy preceding the rise of Antichrist, while he also shockingly presents donating to his own ministry as the solution for immorality in some cases! 2 Pet. 2:14,15 says false teachers who have followed the way of Balaam are experts in greed! The Bible condemns an ungodly tolerance with false teachers.

Tom White of Voice of The Martyrs

[In April 2012 Voice Of The Martyrs director, Tom White, may have committed suicide amid an abuse probe by police involving a 10 year old female.

TULSA, Okla. — Oklahoma authorities are investigating whether the executive director of an international Christian ministry killed himself amid allegations he’d molested a 10-year-old girl, police said Monday….Police found the 64-year-old’s body at the organization’s Bartlesville headquarters Wednesday. Employees discovered a letter in White’s vehicle indicating he was “suicidal or possibly fleeing to avoid investigation” and turned it over to police, Hastings said. “You can take it either way,” Hastings said. “It was kind of a goodbye letter. You don’t know if he was talking about himself.”

Do not be deceived. Richard Wurmbrand and Voice of the Martyrs are part of the present worldwide apostasy.

Heavenly Secrets

Heaven is a musical place, but that’s not all! The Apostle Paul, writing about his own experience when caught up to heaven, stated something which can only make us wonder:

And I know that this man–whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, but God knows– was caught up to paradise. He heard inexpressible things, things that man is not permitted to tell. (2 Cor 12:3,4)

A definite Bible mystery centers around what Paul heard and why he wasn’t permitted to tell it.mystery We don’t have any other details, even as minute as they may be. However, there probably is a connection to the surpassingly great revelations he mentions several verses later:

To keep me from becoming conceited because of these surpassingly great revelations, there was given me a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. (2 Cor 12:7)

John Wasn’t Allowed to Write Down What He Heard

What heavenly secrets did Paul hear, which he wasn’t allow to share with others? Could it be that John heard the same heavenly secrets when he was caught up to heaven too?

And when the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write; but I heard a voice from heaven say, “Seal up what the seven thunders have said and do not write it down.” (Rev 10:4)

NOTE: Repeatedly John is told to write down what we now call the book of Revelation (Rev 2:8; 2:12; 2:18; 3:1; 3:7; 3:12; 3:14; 10:4; 14:13; 19:9; 21:5), but wasn’t allowed to write down what the seven thunders spoke! Who or what are the seven thunders? That is another Bible mystery in itself! Perhaps if we had the mysterious words John heard, Revelation would not be such a mystery to us! In conclusion, this we do know – God does entrust certain truths exclusively to certain people, but not to others!

Private Interpretation

Sometimes, as the Christian shares the Biblical evidence for what to believe and what not to believe, some opponents will counter with “Scripture is not of private interpretation.” Some Catholics and even a few Jehovah’s Witnesses have used that on me over the years. So where do they get that?

Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. (2 Pet 1:20, KJV)

look what's in the bible
The NIV reads this way:

Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation. (2 Pet 1:20)

Is It Wrong For A Person To Read The Bible

The way the private interpretation objection is thrown out, one might wrongly conclude it is wrong to even read the Bible. How the devil would like that! That would keep us in darkness and make us all easy victims. The private interpretation of 2 Pet 1:20 can’t be as the Watchtower, the Pope or other cultic groups would say because:

  • The New Testament epistles were read out loud to all the Christians in the congregation. Hence, they must have been able to understand the message therein contained as it was read or they would have never practiced this (Col. 4:16; etc.). Each person privately gave an interpretation to what they heard, yet certainly didn’t violate 2 Pet 1:20! See 1 Jn. 2:26,27. The Holy Spirit is resident within a Christian to teach him.
  • The Bereans individually studied Scripture and found God’s truth after close examination by themselves individually! They were commended for doing so (Acts 17:11,12), yet they were unsaved when they were first verifying the points of Scripture Paul cited! Hence, the unsaved can even understand certain Scriptures, if they sincerely seek for themselves. The Bereans also must not have violated the private interpretation clause by what they did.

2 Peter 1:20,21

The immediate context helps us to understand:

Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation. For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. (2 Pet 1:20,21)

The meaning of private interpretation in 2 Pet. 1:20 refers back to the false teachers Peter was opposing, who cleverly invented stories (1:16) and were apparently guilty of private interpretation. Peter is saying that real prophecy of Scripture didn’t come about by the prophet’s own interpretation. The origin of the prophecy was not the will of man, but God (1:21), unlike what the false teachers were presenting.

Finally, never forget that it is SURELY the devil, who doesn’t want you to read the Bible, especially the New Testament to learn the truth about the forgiveness of sins and salvation. Don’t allow ANYTHING or ANYONE keep you from the Bible, even by the misapplied private interpretation argument. God bless you.

12 Pound Gold Nugget Found

An anonymous Australian gold prospector with a $6,000 metal detector recently made the find of a lifetime – a huge gold nugget weighing 12 pounds and possibly worth $500,000!12 pound gold nugget Here is how it began:

Kent told Australian news site Adelaide Now that the prospector heard a faint alert on his detector and scooped up a pile of leaf mulch before digging. The miner thought he had uncovered a gold car part at first but, to his disbelief, kept unearthing a bigger and bigger chunk of real gold. ( http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/01/17/gold-nugget-australia-ballarat-found_n_2496663.html?utm_hp_ref=business&amp  )

As exciting as that moment was for that gold prospector, imagine how joyful he could have been to find the hidden treasure and pearl of great price, which the Lord Jesus spoke about! Such a hidden treasure and pearl of great price is worth infinitely more than a mere 12 pound gold nugget which perishes, and a much greater price was paid to make it available to all. Peter wrote:

For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. (1 Pet 1:18,19)

God bought the saints with his own blood, which is much more valuable than a mere 12 pound gold nugget:

… Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood. (Acts 20:28)

BTW, the real Apostle Paul, who would beat his body and make it his slave so that after he preached to others, he himself would not be a castaway (or reprobate) (1 Cor 9:27), if he was alive today, would not have coveted that man’s 12 pound gold nugget:

I have not coveted anyone’s silver or gold or clothing. (Acts 20:33)

One day, gold as we know it now, will have no value, but a different type of gold will be found and used like asphalt in New Jerusalem:

The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate made of a single pearl. The great street of the city was of pure gold, like transparent glass. (Rev 21:21)

The overcomers will walk on that gold street because they are worthy to be there through the Lord Jesus. Do you have the saving faith needed to join them? Do you know what eternal life is?

Devout Catholic Warns Thief

A devout Catholic woman from Kansas warns thief with holy water and Mary! This is the fruit of Catholicism and what it has produced, that is, a total distortion from spiritual reality including a fabricated Mary! catholic warns thiefThis Catholic woman placed a sign in her yard which reads:

… God and the Blessed Virgin Mary are going to deal with you, so whoever took the gas cans, you need to bring them back. Leave them by the camper. I feel for you. You know, even Satan is afraid of the Virgin Mary, Jesus’ mom. There are a lot of prayers going up right now. (http://news.yahoo.com/video/woman-warns-thief-stolen-items-225604863.html)

BTW, the camper and stolen gas cans were blessed with holy water prior to the theft! Catholicism is the elephant in the room that many counterfeit leaders in our apostate day – the ecumenical leaders – actually work with or praise instead of exposing and refuting with Scripture!

I Never Knew You

As strange as it may sound, it is a fact that some highly religious people have NEVER been saved.  The proof is in the words I never knew you as found in Mt. 7:23. Jesus taught:they were never saved

Then I will tell them plainly, “I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!”

The context from verses 21 and 22 shows those never saved religious people:

  • confessed Jesus as Lord
  • prophesied in Jesus’ name
  • drove out demons in Jesus’ name
  • performed miracles

That is much more than many church goers of our day, but those religious evildoers of Mt. 7:21-23 were never saved! NOTE: Jesus never knew those people in the way of them being a partaker of eternal life. Another vital detail about the same people is, they were evildoers. The Greek tense is continuous tense evildoers, though they were also religious and confessed Jesus as Lord. Apparently, they were never set free from their sin addictions.

Not Related To The OSAS Controversy

While the I never knew you type of person does exist, that is only one type of unsaved person! That is important to note. Why? Because such people as referred to in Mt. 7:21-23 are not directly related to the once saved always saved controversy at all, even though the teachers of it try to make them related. To be related, we must examine people who were once known by the Lord and later died spiritually, like the 5 foolish virgins mentioned in Mt. 25:1-13.  NOTE: Jesus did NOT say to the foolish virgins, I never knew you, but instead, I don’t know you (Mt. 25:12)! Why? Because he did know them at an earlier point when they had salvation and their lamps were burning. In fact, just like with the 5 foolish virgins, the phrase, I don’t know you is also found two other times (Lk. 13:25; 13:27), yet is basically unknown in our apostate day.

The once saved always saved teachers have selectively misapplied Mt. 7:23 for self-protection. Their never saved argument is mentioned when trying to avoid being identified as license for immorality teachers. Their never saved explanation from Mt. 7:23 for certain people who profess salvation and later turn to gross wickedness is not all inclusive, but only selectively used! They never use it with King David who turned to adultery and murder, or with Solomon whose heart became idolatrous!

There are various types of people mentioned in the Bible. Some do get saved (and are known by Jesus) but afterwards die spiritually because they turned to wickedness, as the Prodigal son did (Luke 15:24). Others shipwrecked their faith (1 Tim. 1:19), fell from grace (Gal. 5:1-4), etc. If a Christian doesn’t continue in God’s kindness he will be cut off.

There are various spiritual tragedies. They are all through the Bible and consequently there are vital things which the saints must do for themselves for spiritual protection and to stay saved under grace.

Once a son always a son is a rampant deception. Do not be deceived by any of their flawed arguments, including the, I never knew you one from Mt. 7:23. Hold on to what you have.

“Finding Our Faith” with Diane Sawyer

Sadly, the report shows that the Jehovah’s Witnesses are growing. The Pentecostals are growing too, but with the major influence of Joseph Prince, Pat Robertson and others who believe in eternal security their effect is very destructive. Another major hit on the Pentecostals was the doctrinal apostasy of David Wilkerson.

No Annihilation of The Wicked Dead

Before my wife became a Christian she was adversely influenced by Herbert Armstrong. Consequently, she believed the wicked dead would be annihilated and, therefore, wasn’t too concerned about not having salvation at death! If annihilation was true, she thought she could have the life-long pleasures of sin here and just be wiped out of existence after her death. annihilationIn other words, she believed she would only suffer this side of the grave for her sins and not afterwards because of being annihilated.

I have encountered various people (Jehovah’s Witnesses, Seventh Day Adventists, Edward Fudge, Heretic David Servant, etc.) over the years who rejected eternal conscious torment in favor of annihilation, but those same people have apparently not thought out their position very well! There are also other related issues which shed clear light on this important subject, which can not fit in with annihilation:

Judas Iscariot

1. Why would it have been better if Judas Iscariot was never born, rather than betray Jesus (Mark 14:21)? Annihilation is basically the same as never being born. Jesus said Judas Iscariot was going to get something worse, which would be impossible if annihilation of the wicked was true!

Jude 7

2. How could the sodomites from Sodom and Gomorrah who were destroyed in Genesis 19 still be suffering in Jude’s day (thousands of years after their death), if they were annihilated? Jude 7 says:moving fire

In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire.

NOTE: The Greek tense for suffer there is continuous or repeated action. Furthermore, Peter wrote about the same sodomites:

The Lord knows how to rescue godly men from trials and to hold the unrighteous for the day of judgment, while continuing their punishment. (2 Pet 2:9)

Noah’s Day

3. How could the wicked dead, who perished in the Flood of Noah’s day, appear at the great white throne judgment (Rev. 20:11-15), yet in the future sometime after the 1,000 reign of Christ be resurrected unto damnation (Jn. 5:29; Rom. 2:8,9), if they were annihilated after their death thousands of years before the birth of Christ?

Mt. 25:46

4. If the wicked dead are annihilated, then it could not be eternal punishment, as Jesus taught in Mt 25:46:

Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.

The Greek word translated punishment there also means torment, which makes eternal torment, Jesus’ teaching. If the sentence was annihilation, the punishment would be brief and quick. That, however, is not what Jesus said. That can’t be true because Jesus said it is eternal punishment or torment (Mt. 25:26). Again, Jesus said eternal torment, not anything else. If a murderer is sentenced to 20 years in prison in our day, his sentence is different than him spending his punishment time in “torment” breaking rocks with a sledge hammer, as they did years ago.

Mark 9:43-48

5. Jesus taught it is better to cut your hand or foot off or gouge out your eye to prevent sin from dragging you to hell and into unquenchable fire after death (Mk. 9:43-48). To remove those bodily members would make such a person suffer incredibly during his earthly life, but that is better (according to Jesus) than what he would face after his death, if his sins dragged him to hell. That is an impossible scenario, if annihilation was true.

Though it may sound irrational to some, the righteous and just God will allow the overcomers to experience peace, joy, love, etc. in his holy presence forever, while his enemies (the wicked dead who die in their sins) are tormented day and night forever and ever (Rev. 20:10 cf. 19:20). NOTE: the antichrist and false prophet were in the fiery lake of burning sulfur for 1,000+ years yet were not annihilated when the devil is also thrown into the same place! (Compare Rev. 19:20 to Rev. 20:10.) That is not God being cold and unloving, but him being just and righteous because that is his true identity and it will happen that way:

On the wicked he will rain fiery coals and burning sulfur; a scorching wind will be their lot. For the LORD is righteous, he loves justice; upright men will see his face. (Psa 11:6,7)
