Jesus Did It All For YOU

Have you ever stopped to ponder the fact that everything the Lord Jesus did, was for YOU? He left heaven and became man FOR YOU. Just that alone is incomprehensible! In fact, it is cited as the example of humbling oneself (Phil. 2:6-8)! Imagine leaving an infinite Paradise of holiness, love, truth, etc. to come to a dark, lost, cursed world filled with sin, injustice and religious deception, where you would be hated, betrayed and murdered! What a massive change was involved, but the Lord Jesus did it all to get YOU! He came with a most unique message of truth, pointing people to himself. The spiritual leaders of that day HATED what he did and his teachings and CONSPIRED HIS DEATH!Jesus Christ The Savior Of The World That is how apostate the established leaders were when Jesus walked the earth 2,000 years ago (just like the established leaders of our day). They were his worst enemies and the ones the devil used most to oppose him. But the Lord Jesus knew what he was getting involved with before any of the opposition occurred, yet he left Paradise anyway. He did it all for us, not for himself. He didn’t come to gain victory over the devil, he already had victory over the devil. He came to rescue and redeem us. He came to save us from the HELL we all deserve because of sin. He came to set us free from our sin addictions and give us a real purpose to live.

While he was here, he miraculously healed and raised people from the dead. His miracles were many (John 20:30). He taught unheard of precious truths that were never spoken to mankind before! His words are living. They are also spirit and life (Jn. 6:63). They are the words of eternal life (Jn. 6:68), yet those same words brought division, even among family members (Mt. 10:34-38). In part, the Prince of Peace came to earth to divide families!

The trouble and opposition Jesus faced was beyond our wildest imaginations even at that point, which doesn’t even factor in his greatest act of love – his sacrificial and bloody death on the cross for us all. What immediately preceded the cross was a whole area of incredible rejection and agonizing pain of different degrees – more than we can imagine, based on Isa. 52:14. He went through all of that, and much more, for us! He endured it all and is mentioned as the role model, so we Christians don’t grow weary and lose heart in our own personal spiritual race:

“Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.” (Heb 12:2,3)

Jesus’ blood, shed on the cross, is the only sin-cleansing agent we all desperately need and must have for salvation, again showing he alone is the Savior of the world. Because Jesus’ blood is so special and vital, we again learn of his uniqueness and the narrow way.

Who Is Jesus Christ

The Blood Of God

NOTE: It was the blood of God, which bought the church with his own blood:

Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood. (Acts 20:28)

Jesus Wants YOU With Him Throughout Eternity

He is the ONE AND ONLY HOPE FOR MANKIND, but he provided all of that for us – not for himself! His sacrifice was beyond our ability to understand it. Jesus is also now praying for us from the throne of God!

Jesus is definitely the HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE UNIVERSE, the Lord of Lords (Deut. 10:17). To serve him is the GREATEST purpose to live, with no close second. Serving him is also what we all should be doing anyway:

And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again. (2 Cor 5:15)

Are you doing that, or have you neglected his great love for YOU? You must choose to take Jesus’ yoke to have eternal life. To reject him is to have NO HOPE of escaping eternal hell fire forever, but he gives you that choice:

Then he said to them all: “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.” (Luke 9:23)

The Secrets Of The Kingdom of God

Spiritual secrets do exist! Some are called the secrets of the kingdom. Be assured God doesn’t readily reveal everything to everyone!secrets of the kingdom

The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law. (Deu 29:29)

While that is factual, God does reveal the secrets of the kingdom through parables to the saints, but he likewise hides those same secrets of the kingdom from others! Jesus taught:

He said, “The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to others I speak in parables, so that, ‘though seeing, they may not see; though hearing, they may not understand.’”  (Luke 8:10)

The Four Types of People Who Hear God’s Word

That directly refers to the Parable of the Sower and those important “secrets of the kingdom” deal directly with the four types of people who hear the word of God and SALVATION itself! (Dear reader, YOU are one of these four types!) The first type of person never comes to initial salvation. He was never saved to begin with. The second type does believe for a while, then quickly dies spiritually when tested with persecution (Luke 8:13). The third type, after initial salvation, isn’t fruitful because of the cares of this life, deceitfulness of riches and lusts for other things. Only the fourth type of person brings forth fruit — thirty, sixty or a hundred fold. That means the very things that took down the second and third types (persecution for godly living, cares of this life, deceitfulness of riches, desires for other things), who were previously saved, didn’t adversely affect type four. He kept his hand to the plow, endured the persecutions for godly living and wasn’t choked out with the cares of this life, deceitfulness of riches or other things. He was spiritually fruitful. He heard the word of God, retained it, and by persevering produced a crop (Luke 8:15). Type four alone was the overcomer, who gets the promises of Rev. 21:1-7.

Those are some of the most basic, but important, secrets of the kingdom, which have been revealed to the saved, but concealed from the lost. That further proves that those who reject a conditional salvation by believing in once saved always saved are not only wrong, but lost, according to Jesus. Therefore, the believer’s security is not an in house debate. Those that preach another gospel by rejecting the conditions of the real gospel (1 Cor. 15:2) are anathematized by their own teachings, which change the gospel of grace (Gal. 1:8,9) into a license for sin (Jude 3,4)!

Joseph Smith Jr. Brigham Young and Their Polygamy

Joseph Smith Jr. was not like millions in our day perceived him to be.  He was NOT a righteous man, based on Bible-standards, nor was Joseph Smith a prophet. The evidence to the contrary is clear and revealing!joseph smith jr. mormonism polygamy Just on the basis of his polygamy alone, Joseph Smith Jr. had negative qualifications for spiritual leadership:

Now the overseer must be above reproach, the husband of but one wife… (1 Tim 3:2).

Exactly how many wives Joseph Smith, Jr. had is unknown, but it appears to be around 33! Strangely, 11 of his 33 wives were also married to other living men, meaning those women had two husbands at the same time! Adultery abounded in such polygamy for all involved.  Also, the LDS church recently admitted that Joseph Smith had a wife who was just 14 years of age! She was Helen Mar Kimball — just a little 14 year old girl. If you are a Latter Day Saint, is that the Joseph Smith Jr. you envisioned that restored the church?

Brigham Young

After Joseph Smith Jr. died in a shoot out, when Smith himself killed two men who were trying to take his life, Brigham Young became his successor and led the majority to Utah. Brigham Young had about 54 wives, which yielded him 57 children.

Beyond a reasonable doubt, both Joseph Smith Jr. and Brigham Young, just on the basis of their polygamy, were disqualified from spiritual leadership, based on 1 Tim. 3:2. In reality they were adulterers and even their own [false] scriptures [Book of Mormon] condemn their polygamy too!

Behold, David and Solomon truly had many wives and concubines, which thing was abominable before me, saith the Lord (Jacob 2:24).

Those details mortally undercut the Mormon claim that Joseph Smith Jr. restored the church. How could he, since his polygamy was an abomination and the so-called scriptures Smith produced severely contradict themselves and his behavior! Neither of those factor in the false prophecies or the false gospel Joseph Smith Jr. proclaimed, which are even more proof of empty claims and religious mythology.

Hand Out on Alphonsus Liguori For Catholics

Alphonsus Liguori was wrong. The truth is, Mary has NO ROLE, even in the slightest way, with our salvation. She was NEVER mentioned in any salvation sermon recorded in the Bible, including by Peter, whom Catholics wrongly think was a pope. Don’t believe me, read through the book of Acts, 1 Peter and 2 Peter for yourself. Our focus must be on the SAVIOR, who is Jesus. Mary is NOT a savior and is not to be prayed to or trusted in for anything, based on scripture. We do NOT go to Mary to get to Jesus and we certainly better not be calling on Mary at the hour of our death. She is not “our life, sweetness or hope.” Go by the Bible and you will read 100% truth. You will be completely safe. IF you deviate from scripture you will surely be deceived. People who think Alphonsus Liguori was a saint and sound in doctrine are not going by the message of the Bible and such will, sadly, be lethal for them. Take this warning to heart. It is most serious!

I Don’t Know If I Am Really Saved

[Bible Question] …The question about salvation keeps popping up in my mind. I don’t know if I am really saved. I am so confused about all the false doctrine I received over the years that I don’t know what’s right anymore.  Where do I start?

We Can KNOW We Are Saved NOW

[Bible Answer] Greetings in Jesus’ name. There are various ways a person can know he is saved in the present time. Here are the main checkpoints:set free from sin addictions

  • Are you set free from all sin addictions NOW because of a faith in Jesus – one that follows and serves God? (Rom. 6:22; 1 John 2:3,4)
  • Is the focus and TRUST for your salvation the Lord JESUS and him alone? (John 14:6; Acts 4:12; 1 John 5:12)
  • Are you righteously different than others? (1 John 3:7,8)
  • Are you living HOLY now? (Heb. 12:14; 1 John 3:10)
  • Are there any verses which would condemn you such as Mt. 5:28,29; 1 Cor. 6:9,10; Eph. 5:5-7; Rev. 21:8; etc.
  • Do you have LOVE IN YOUR HEART for Christians.

We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love our brothers. Anyone who does not love remains in death. (1 John 3:14)

  • Do the unredeemed people around you hate you because of your faith in JESUS?

All men will hate you because of me, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. (Mat 10:22)

If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. (John 15:19)

  • The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children (Rom 8:16).  Though this is true it seems the devil can cause confusion with this, unless a person is firmly grounded in Scripture.

The Righteous Can Die Spiritually

Because the righteous can die spiritually after getting born again, you must guard your heart and keep yourself pure. Many who do get saved, afterwards fall away. You must endure hatred to the end to be saved [enter God’s kingdom], Mt. 10:22; Heb. 3:14; Rev. 2:10,11. It seems that the so-called church of our day has been gutted of truth and it has been replaced with a super flood of false teaching! Jesus warned there would be many false prophets. YOU must get in the Bible directly and learn its message for yourself. Until you do you will not know what to believe, which could be spiritually fatal. Do NOT merely listen to TV and radio teachers, because there are so many conflicting doctrines. ONLY the Bible is 100% TRUTH.

Remember also God gives grace [favor] to the HUMBLE. Humbly and sincerely go to God repentantly and ask him for mercy and forgiveness to follow him in this sin-loving, truth-hating world. Draw near to him and he’ll draw near to you. Hopefully, this answers your question.

What Did Jesus Look Like

Most people have a mental image of what the Lord Jesus looks like from pictures and movies, but the truth is, no one knows! We only have vague references in Scripture to his facial appearance, such as the following one:

He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him. (Isa 53:2)

Jesus was less than stunningly handsome, according to that! carnal christian demon faith(The reason is so people would be drawn to the Lord Jesus, who has the words of eternal life (John 6:68) over TRUTH, not over his physical appearance.) Another small detail about Jesus is that he had a beard, as was typical in that day and culture. Men had beards as is shown all through the Bible. The following verse has been applied to the Lord Jesus and fits how he was treated before his crucifixion:

I offered my back to those who beat me, my cheeks to those who pulled out my beard; I did not hide my face from mocking and spitting. (Isa 50:6)

A Man of Sorrows

The Lord Jesus was also a man of sorrows:

He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering. Like one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not. (Isa 53:3)

That means Jesus was not walking around smiling and laughing as he has been wrongly portrayed in some Jesus movies! But remember, his physical characteristics are trivial to his message and his mission for mankind!  Jesus has done so much for our salvation, redemption and everything else spiritually, he has over 100 titles and name which reflect who is Jesus Christ.

Jesus Looked Much Different In John’s Vision

The Apostle John had a vision of the glorified Lord Jesus and he appeared much different than he did while on earth:

And among the lampstands was someone “like a son of man,” dressed in a robe reaching down to his feet and with a golden sash around his chest. His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire. His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters. In his right hand he held seven stars, and out of his mouth came a sharp double-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance. (Rev 1:13-16)

Later in Revelation, Jesus appeared in John’s vision as a slain lamb (Rev. 5:6).

Long Hair For A Man Is a Disgrace

Since Paul wrote that long hair is a disgrace for a man, we can also assume that Jesus never had long hair:

Does not the very nature of things teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a disgrace to him, but that if a woman has long hair, it is her glory? For long hair is given to her as a covering.  (1 Cor 11:14,15)

Shroud of Turin

Some have said the image of the man of the Shroud of Turin is the Lord Jesus after his crucifixion. If that is true or not, it should have absolutely NO effect on the Christian. With the Bible, we have final authority and all God wanted us to have for guidance, etc. for our earthly life. We don’t need to consult any outside source for any spiritual reason, and we certainly don’t need to have the details about what Jesus looked like when he walked the earth! What we need to know is what does God want from us and then do it. Among other things he commands all people everywhere to REPENT (Acts 17:30), for it is not God’s will that anyone should perish (2 Pet. 3:9).

You Can’t See God’s FACE and Live

An unusual fact about God is that, in these corruptible bodies of ours, we can’t see God’s face and continue to live physically, according to what God told Moses. BTW, MOSES was unlike others. God spoke to him “face to face” (and not in visions or dreams like others), probably because he was so HUMBLE, but he still never saw God’s actual face. YHWH told Moses the following:

“But,” he said, “you cannot see my face, for no one may see me and live.” Then the LORD said, “There is a place near me where you may stand on a rock. When my glory passes by, I will put you in a cleft in the rock and cover you with my hand until I have passed by. Then I will remove my hand and you will see my back; but my face must not be seen.” (Exo 33:20-23)

That detail is important to know too when trying to understand the invisible God as well as evaluating alleged authoritative visions from God. Did you know that in Mormonism Joseph Smith Jr. claims to have had at least one vision (the so-called “First Vision”) which included both the Father and Son. Just on that basis, one should be suspicious about Joseph Smith, but the rest of the story, especially in light of the MORMON DOCTRINES is more than enough to reveal the spiritual darkness and grave errors associated with the Latter Day Saints. [The Fatima apparitions make a similar claim about the Father as Lucia said she saw the Father!]

Overcomers ONLY Will See God’s Face

Many are the wonderful and thrilling things awaiting the overcomers. That even includes seeing God’s face!

No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him. They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. (Rev 22:3,4)

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.  (Mat 5:8)

Imagine, the multitudes who die in their sins and go to hell will never see God’s face! Only the overcomers (the pure in heart) will have that privilege. Furthermore, please note according to the above passage, Mary is NOT on the throne as Queen of heaven ruling with Jesus! It is NOT Mother and Son, but Father and Son. [Did you know the official teaching of Catholicism does NOT have the Father on his throne! One might wonder, did their fabricated Mary dethrone God?]

One final point from Rev. 22:3,4 which shows the devil is a copycat! The overcomers will have God’s name on their foreheads, in contrast to the people who take the mark of the beast on their right hand or forehead (Rev. 13:16,17) and go to the lake of burning sulfur (Rev. 14:9-12).

The KJB Only MYTH and Chief Argument

IF the proponents of the KJB only camp would learn to critically think, the whole nonsensical and mean-spirited, condemning KJB (or KJV) movement would rapidly disintegrate! In fact, one doesn’t even have to do much serious testing of the KJV arguments and claims to reasonably reject the King James version of the bible, because it is both incomprehensible and deceptive. This should quickly become apparent to anyone reading the KJV. How people can read it, then insist they can understand what it is saying is to be deceitful. It is an archaic language of its own — one of the past — just like reading Shakespeare, which is now much outdated! The English language has changed over the centuries (and still is) and now many KJB words no longer mean what they did in 1611.

KJV Onlyism Hurts

king james onlyReading the KJV is a stumbling block and snare to God’s people, for we MUST learn what the truth is. Since only the Bible is final spiritual authority (2 Tim. 3:16,17) for a Christian to focus his exclusive attention to such an incomprehensible translation is to do so to his own detriment. Our salvation is in dire jeopardy until we firmly learn the message of the Bible, especially the New Testament! Without question, the KJV will surely blur and severely hinder that from happening. I speak from MUCH experience and say these things after careful thought. Especially new converts are much better off reading a modern reputable translation or several rather than the KJB.

The Feeble Chief Argument For KJB Onlyism

The KJV onlyites have made many devotees over the years with their weak arguments and propaganda (and Gail Riplinger LIES). Their chief argument has been to attack the New International Version and its supposed “missing words” to prove their KJV only belief, but such is both illogical and based on a mere assumption! SADLY the KJV only proponents have apparently never noticed such to their own harm and the harm of those they care about! Let me elaborate.

The Car Analogy

If I staunchly believed in driving ONLY HONDAS and condemned all other cars throughout the world by attacking Chevys, could such an attack logically prove Hondas are superior to ALL cars in the world? Never! It is absurd to believe it would. That is true even IF the evidence against Chevys was sound and not based on an assumption that the Hondas are superior, but even more flawed if the attacks are not valid. Such allegations, if true, would only prove that Chevys are not good cars to drive, but says nothing about all other cars throughout the world. Furthermore, IF we compared Chevys to Hondas and noticed Chevys were missing some of the necessary parts found in Hondas, it would be a mere assumption to condemn the Chevys just based on that, for perhaps those “necessary parts” are not valid in ascertaining a superior car! That is very similar to what KJV Onlyism has done to the harm of multitudes of Christians. KJV Onlyism is proof that many professing Christians of our hour have never learned to critically think and are easily swayed to believe something that is obviously wrong and irrational. To fallaciously claim even a 10 year old can understand the KJV when the adult readers themselves can’t is deceitful!

Dear reader, take NO CHANCE with your soul. READ REPUTABLE MODERN TRANSLATIONS SO YOU CAN UNDERSTAND WHAT GOD WANTS FROM YOU. It is your ETERNITY which is on the line with this issue of GOD’S TRUTH. Don’t allow the KJV proponents bully you away from understanding Scripture.

I Was Saved Again and Instantly Delivered from My Sin Addictions

[Personal Testimony of Backslider] I want to thank you [Evangelical Outreach] for all of your wonderfully thorough teachings focused on providing a comprehensive refutation to the dangerous false doctrine of eternal security [also known as OSAS and The Perseverance of the Saints in ostensibly Calvinistic circles] and I want to share a bit of my story with you.false teachers A while back; I went through an agonizing break- up which ended my ebullience for God [including a great passion for scripture- I have a great breadth of theological and scriptural knowledge] and caused me to lose my salvation. Soon after, I experienced tortuous suicidal thoughts and an indefatigable proclivity to self-hatred. In the midst of all this, I was all committing a whole host of other sins as well including a horrible problem with lust; [Matthew 5:27-28]; which therefore made me an adulterer and thus guilty of sexual immorality according to 1 Cor 6:9-11, Gal 5:16-25, Eph 5:1-7, 1 Thess 4:3-8; Rev 21:6-8, Rev 22:15, etc. However, a miracle  occurred much earlier this year when my time as a backslider came to end and I was saved again. I was instantly delivered from my sin addictions [Romans 6:19-23]; became fully sold out and committed to following the Lord Jesus and doing his will [Matthew 16:24-27]; experienced a radical change and became a new creation inChrist [2 Cor 5:17] and I have received peace and rest for my soul by going to the Lord Jesus [Matthew 11:28-30]. I am making every effort [Luke 13:22-24, Hebrews 12:14-17; etc] to enter through God’s kingdom door; and striving to keep myself pure [1 Timothy 4:15-16; 1 Timothy 5:22, etc] so that I can enter in after my physical death. Your website and teachings have been instrumental in keeping me on the right path after my return to salvation. Your ministry is one of very few that I fully trust. Truth be told, there is so much false teaching out there these days; even from people who purport to teach holiness and to reject OSAS!

For example: I recently had an e- mail exchange with a man who rejects OSAS; but denies that salvation can be lost through sin. Instead, he believes sin can only be lost if one chooses to disown Jesus or apostatize from the Christian faith. Although
disowning Jesus will certainly cause one to lose his or her salvation [Matthew
10:32-33; 2 Timothy 2:12, etc]; to deny that sin can also [in certain cases immediately, and other cases much more gradually] is to pervert God’s grace into a license for immorality [which we are commanded to contend against in Jude 3-4 among various other places in scripture]; and to make one guilty of disseminating another gospel according to 1 Cor 15:1-2; Gal 1:6-9, 2 Jn 8-9, etc. Therefore, even if he was once saved; he is now lost again for teaching and believing another gospel. This is a supposedly Bible College/Seminary- educated man; which only makes me fear for the poor spiritual state of our institutions of theological learning today, including [but obviously not limited to] the ones that say they reject the false teaching of eternal security!

Thank you for helping me to know the truth and to act upon it for my soul’s sake
[James 1:21- 25, etc]; and I ask that you would continue to pray for my spiritual
well-being and growth. And long may your mighty ministry of soul- winning and no-nonsense holiness preaching continue. God bless you. Remember Hebrews 3:7-15.

We rejoice with you. The real gospel still works when a person sincerely and humbly accepts it to repent and serve God.

The intensity of our spiritual warfare is great and the casualties are greater! Many are back on the road to hell again, but think they are irrevocably bound for heaven because of the demonic LIE of eternal security. We were just talking with a staunch OSAS proponent yesterday who thinks there are Christian heroin junkies, but that goes with that license for sin doctrine, as you know.

It was also great to read that you have observed the nonsense and poison coming from many so-called holiness preachers of our day and those who say they reject once saved always saved! In that regard, Charles Finney was NOT nearly as sound as what many have been told about him. Also, David Wilkerson doctrinally apostatized in his latter years and left his church to Carter Conlon, an eternal security teacher! SHOCKING AND HORRIBLE, but they continue to be exalted! Our days are dark and our hearts especially go out to new converts, who need fed and warned of the many spiritual dangers around.

We will pray for you and send you holy hugs in Jesus. Please remember, the devil’s single goal for you is to damn you to hell! Take no chances with your soul. Also, never forget that you have the best this life can offer BECAUSE YOU HAVE JESUS, who is eternal life (1 John 1:2).
