In our day, human life is cheapened while animal life is unduly exalted and protected. Have you ever noticed how many services veterinarians offer for a dog or cat? Some are very expensive! Animals are treated is a super special way, even dangerous dogs like the following killer pit bull:
WHEELING, W.Va. – A Wheeling official says a dog that attacked and killed a man will be sent to a pet facility in Pennsylvania.
City Manager Robert Herron said Wednesday that South Hills Pet Rescue and Rehabilitation Resort approached city officials about taking the pit bull terrier. He says in a statement that the dog won’t be allowed to return to West Virginia. Police say the dog attacked Roy Higgenbotham, 62, on March 8 as Higgenbotham was trying to help its owner, David Wallace, 63, who had suffered a heart attack. Herron says authorities believe the dog perceived Higgenbotham’s actions as an attack on Wallace. The incident occurred at Wallace’s home. Both men were pronounced dead at a local hospital. Put a Killer Animal To Death
An animal is an animal. It is not a person. A killer dog should be put to death. To allow such an animal to live is to endanger other humans, especially little children. Back in the days of Moses, such a killer dog would have been treated like any dangerous animal and killed:
If a bull gores a man or a woman to death, the bull must be stoned to death, and its meat must not be eaten. But the owner of the bull will not be held responsible. If, however, the bull has had the habit of goring and the owner has been warned but has not kept it penned up and it kills a man or woman, the bull must be stoned and the owner also must be put to death. (Exo 21:28,29)
A bull was very valuable back in that day, but that didn’t change anything. A killer bull would not be rehabilitated! It would be killed! To try to rehabilitate an animal is bizarre. A killer animal, including a dog, should be killed and the sooner the better!
