In the earlier days of Genesis, some people lived beyond 900 years (Gen. 5:14, 20,27). Since the Great Flood in Noah’s day, human life has greatly decreased, but different scientists are now saying it can be extended exceedingly from this present point to perhaps 500 years through genetic tweaking:

Living to the ripe old age of 500 might be a possibility if the science shown to extend worms’ lives can be applied to humans, scientists have said. Immortality and Nanobots
As close as the possibility of a 500 year human life may seem, if ever accomplished, it is very short compared to what world-renowned scientist, Ray Kurzweil has said about immortality via nanobots replacing blood cells.
The truth is, real immortality and eternal life are available now, but not through science and genetic tweaking or nanobots! It remains available as it has been for thousands of years through the wonderful salvation God offers for all who will repent and follow Jesus unashamedly in this sin-saturated world (Lk. 9:26). Narrow is the way and Jesus is that way (John 14:6).
