Balaam is an Old Testament character who taught the enemy of Israel how to get an advantage over Israel by getting them to sin.
As we follow the Lord Jesus (who is ETERNAL LIFE), we also teach about immortality, everlasting life, salvation, eternal life, living forever, etc.
